Invite User

Use Invite User when you want the person to receive an email invitation and finish setup themselves. Unlike Add User, you do not set the password for them.

Where to start
- Go to Management -> Users.
- Click Invite User.
- Add the person's profile information.
- Choose a role if the person should be a staff/admin user.
- Leave the role empty if the person should be customer-only.
- Click Invite User.
Ondi sends an invitation to the email address. The invited person uses the email to continue onboarding.
Fields
The Invite User form includes:
- Avatar: optional profile image. Supported image files are JPEG, JPG, or PNG up to 3 MB.
- First Name: required.
- Last Name: required.
- Email: required and must be unique.
- Role: optional for user invitations.
Role or no role
Assign a role when the invited person should become a staff/admin user.
Leave the role empty when the invited person should be a customer. They will be visible from Management -> Customers.
Invite Customer
The Customers page uses the same invitation flow in customer mode.

In customer mode, the role field is not shown. The invitation creates a customer record.
When to use Invite User
Use Invite User when:
- The person should set their own password.
- You want email ownership to be confirmed through the invitation.
- You do not want to share a temporary password manually.
- You are inviting customers or business contacts who should finish onboarding themselves.
Use Add User instead when you need to create the account immediately and provide the password yourself.
