Handle Reviews

Reviews help customers trust products. They also help the tenant team learn where product descriptions, fulfillment, delivery, packaging, or customer expectations need improvement.
The admin review workflow lets the team monitor ratings, approve useful reviews, reject reviews that should not appear publicly, and respond when the storefront supports an admin response.
In the admin portal
Go to Storefront -> Reviews.

The Reviews page includes filters and columns for customer, product, rating, comment, status, date, and actions.
Review statuses
- Pending: Waiting for moderation.
- Approved: Visible to customers.
- Rejected: Not shown publicly.
How to handle reviews
- Filter by status, rating, product, or customer.
- Read the comment and confirm it belongs to the product.
- Approve helpful, relevant reviews.
- Reject spam, abuse, or unrelated comments.
- Watch repeated complaints as product or fulfillment signals.
Operational use
Reviews are not only marketing content. Low ratings can show stock quality issues, incorrect product descriptions, packaging problems, delivery delays, or expectation gaps.
For example, repeated complaints about size or color can mean the product description or images are unclear. Repeated complaints about damaged products can point to packaging or warehouse handling. Repeated complaints about late delivery may require checking delivery configuration or dispatcher performance.
Moderation tips
- Approve useful reviews even when they are critical.
- Reject spam, abuse, or comments that do not relate to the product.
- Use repeated complaints to improve descriptions, images, packaging, or delivery promises.
- Check the related order when a review points to a fulfillment issue.
Where customers see it
Approved reviews appear on customer-facing product pages and can influence conversion. Pending and rejected reviews should not be visible as public product feedback. Customers may also see their own review history from the customer portal depending on the storefront experience.
Step-by-step moderation
- Go to Storefront -> Reviews.
- Filter for Pending reviews.
- Read the review and check the rating.
- Confirm the product and customer context.
- Approve the review when it is relevant and safe to show.
- Reject the review when it is spam, abusive, unrelated, or not useful for customers.
- If the review indicates an operational issue, open the related order or product and investigate.
